Statue of the Heavenly King Hong Xiuquan

The Statue of the Heavenly King Hong Xiuquan is located in green pines and verdant cypresses of the Parade Ground. This giant statue was designed and sculptured by the couple of Zhu Peijun and Chen Heyi, famous sculptors and professors of Guangxi Arts Universityon the occasion of the 140^th anniversary of the broke-out of Jintian Uprising of theTaiping Heavenly Kingdom. The statue was pieced together and sculptured with 99 red granite of 9.5 meters in height, with letters of The Heavenly King Hong Xiuquan, which was inscribed by famous Chinese sculptor Mr. Liu Kaiqu.
